Jordan Koop

As a researcher, analyst and communications specialist, she is driven to propel climate security as a key issue on the global climate governance agenda. Her interests are climate diplomacy, climate security, energy security, gender implications of climate change, resilience and adaptation, hybrid-threats, risk reduction and how climate change can amplify pre-existing threats. 

Jordan is Communications Advisor at the Environment & Development Resource Centre (EDRC) and is currently an Intern in NATO’s Climate and Energy Security, Emerging Security Challenges Division. 

Previously she was a Programme Assistant at the German Marshall Fund of the United States in Brussels and EU Youth Ambassador at The ONE Campaign. Jordan Graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Brussels School of Governance with an MA in Diplomacy and Global Governance, while previously obtaining her Honours BA in Political Science and Media, Information and Technoculture from the University of Western Ontario in Canada.
